The retail sector is fast changing. Shoppers nowadays are quickly shifting into digital shoppers. Consumer Intelligence Research Partners found that 20% of all US consumers are Prime members.  Other studies have shown that online retailer giants Amazon and Walmart.com accounting for nearly half of all US online purchases. E-commerce is no longer the future of retail, it is now the present.  With nearly all of the growth in the retail sector now takes place in the digital space, traditional brick and mortar retailers are struggling to keep up with the overhead cost of inventory, payroll as well as multiple store leases. Below is a list of traditional retailers who have fallen victim to the changes in consumer habits.

  • GameStop - 150 Stores
