Carson Halley, CCIM serves as a Senior Advisor for SVN – Imbrie Realty, specializing in market rate and affordable multifamily properties throughout the Portland Metropolitan Area and the I-5 Corridor. He is the third generation in his family to be involved in investment real estate in the city of Portland and has deep knowledge of the Oregon and Southwest Washington markets.
He began his commercial broker career with SVN at the market depths of 2009 and has developed into a powerful advocate for his clients. Carson has strong analytical and negotiating skills, which allow him to provide accurate and effective guidance for his clients. In the fall of 2018 he earned the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation from the CCIM Institute. In addition to brokerage, he owns apartments and retail centers and acts as an asset manager for each property type. Acting as a principal has improved his understanding of the emotional component of investing and risk analysis, which has become a backbone of his services to clients.
He is a student of national economic trends and consistently track the national real estate market for a variety of product types. This enables him to analyze investments in a regional and sector based context. Most brokers are transactional in nature and are looking out for their own interests over those of their clients. This couldn’t be farther from Carson’s personality or professional philosophy. He takes great pride in putting his clients’ interests first and helping them realize excellent returns from investments that they have made with him.
Outside the office, Carson enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, surfing, paddle boarding, fly fishing, hunting, and camping. In addition, he can be seen performing as a drummer in various jazz and alternative musical projects nationally.
