Ru Budhi

Ru grew up in New York City, then lived for 14 years in Indiana before moving to Portland in 2015. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, he was a top performing medical sales representative for international brands such ConMed Linvatec Hall Surgical and Linde. He pivoted to commercial real estate since he wanted a challenging investor-focused career that would carry him into retirement. With a passion for multifamily investments, he is constantly touring properties, attending Portland Housing Bureau meetings, and sharing best practices with clients.

In November of 2019, he won a national Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) scholarship that will place him among the 1% of all apartment advisors with this specialized training. He is pursuing a CCIM designation to better help landlords maximize their investment returns. Ru comes from a real estate family that has invested in NYC, NYS, and Asia since the late 1970’s, and he holds his own real estate investments. Before finding his home at SVN-Imbrie Realty LLC, he worked for one of the largest CRE firms in the Portland Metro area.

As a graduate of Outward Bound and NOLS, when Ru is not working, you will often find him with his wife and dog, hiking through trails in the Pacific NW.
